Electric Blinds have become more and more popular over the last few years, mainly fuelled by large expanses of glass being installed to many homes, whether they are glass walls, bifold doors, roof lanterns, skylights or roof lights they all require careful consideration when you try to add shade or need that extra bit of privacy.
Many of these installations are too big or too difficult to reach to be operated by hand, so today there are plenty of options no matter what type of Electric Blind you need. At Radiant we can motorise just about any type of blind whether you want a Roller Blind, a Roman Blind, a Venetian Blind, a Pleated Blind, a Vertical Blind or a blind to cover a Roof Lantern then will be able to help.
Radiant Blinds have been manufacturing, supplying and installing blinds and awnings since 1955, with all the experience gained over such a long time we can point you in the right direction and help you through the mine field of questions you will have, we will liaise with builders, electricians or AV engineers to make sure your final installation not only looks goods but has all the functionality you expect.
A majority of the Electric Blinds we install are operated by it’s own remote control handset or wire free wall switch, like a small run of blinds to bifold doors or a one off blind to cover a glass roof, but if you are renovating your home and you are having the latest Home Automation system installed then we can help, we will supply the correct motors, contacts and relays that you engineer may need to link the blinds into the system.
Even using the standard remote control you will be able to operate each blind individually or groups of blinds together as well as a combination of the two, when we install the blinds we set the STOP limits which means you have one touch operation, press the remote control and the blinds will lower and automatically stop at the bottom, push again and the blinds will raise effortlessly and stop at the top, of course you can stop the blinds at any point in between should you choose. You will have total control at the touch of a button.
